About Us

Girls Got Game was established in 2016 to help girls develop basketball skills in a fun and engaging environment.  The skill sessions and camps provide an opportunity for young girls to build confidence and a sense of empowerment in a positive, supportive and collaborative atmosphere.  There is so much to be learned through team sports, and we strive to develop life skills as we are working on our game and having FUN! 

 Jackie Zicaro is a Health and Physical Education teacher and coach at Sir William Mulock SS.  She coaches at the rep level with the York North Basketball Association in Newmarket, Ontario and also worked with the Ontario Summer Development Program with the OBA.  Jackie is also a Coach Developer for Basketball Canada and has over 30 years of experience coaching and teaching the game of basketball.  She has worked with athletes with a variety of skill levels from the ages of 4 to 18, sharing the love of the game!
